Before we starting on ancient Hindu scriptures we have to learn some history of hinduism and its possibility. as we discussed earlier that there was Indus valley civilization. which came to end or became the center of evolution.
this was some detailed information about origins of Indus valley civilization. the next blog series is based on the ancient Hindu scriptures and texts.
Indus Valley Civilization.
*as we know Aryans was migrated to the Indus valley in 1500 BC.
before Aryan migration, in ancient India there was highly developed civilization named as Indus valley civilization. it was located in (present time names) Pakistan and northwest India. on the fertile plains of Indus river.
accordingly myths and religious practices proof dates that the civilization came to the origin at 6000 BC. after that during 4000 BC farming and agricultural activities were begun. and the first sign of urbanization was seen in 3000 BC. and during time period of 2600 BC there were many towns and cities were established and frames a trade network with other civilization in the word. in 2500 BC to 2000 BC the Indus valley civilization is at its peak of development. there are some records which says that the social conditions of the Indus valley was comparable to Sumeria and even superior to the contemporary Babylonians and Egyptians..
there are two probabilities of modification or declination of Indus valley civilization.
according to one probability which is mostly denied by historians. it says that in 1500 BC the nomad tribes from central Asia crossed Hindukush mountains and migrated to the Indus valley civilization. this was the very large migration which takes place as invasion and conquer the Indus valley civilization. but it was mostly avoided theory by the scholars.
according to another probability says that the process of decay was underway in 1800 BC. according to that some records says Sarswati river was drying up and other says that the regions was get covered with catastrophic flood. either consequences led an effect on agricultural activity. making system unbalanced and breaking civic order in cities. after this the writing started disappearing. the control of tax system has been collapsed. the trade contacts with near east was interrupted and some cities were gradually abandoned.
with both probabilities it says that when migrated nomad tribes settled in Indus valleys there language was taking over the subcontinent language and then in 1000 BC or in 1500 BC the Vedas were composed in Sanskrit. which was from generations to generations by orally.
world oldest religion or the way of life - Hinduism was originated at 6000 BC.
